Hard – Coated Solar Control Glass: Glass is coated with a hard coating, sometimes known as an online coating, during the production process. As the glass cools progressively on the float-line while still in the molten condition, the coating is applied. When the coating is sprayed to the glass while it is still molten, it fuses extremely firmly to the glass.

Importance of Solar Glass for Buildings

After the glass is made, soft coating, also known as off-line coating, is carried out. In vacuum chambers that are kept at normal temperature, the coating is applied. Due to its poor scratch resistance, soft coated solar control glass is typically utilized in the second surface of insulated glass units of glass facades.
